Air Conditioning Martinique 3000

Postby bjt0307 » Mon Jul 11, 2016 11:46 am

My Air is not working 100% of the time. I found the sea cock and found it did not have a strainer. My worry is the sea weed got stuck inside the pump or ac unit. The fan works but it is not pushing water through nor do I see water coming out the side of the boat. I started to disconnect the hose from water pump until I sprung a leak in the hose. I will fix hose today but still have the issue of water not flowing through air conditioning. Where do I find a strainer for sea cock? The fan works but the refrigeration does not kick in when the water is not flowing out the side of the boat. Its supposed to be 90 this week and will need AC! Please help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

The strainer should be in between the underwater thru-hull and the pump. If it doesn't have one I would recommend adding it.

If it's a water flow problem it could be the pump or clogged lines and or AC. If the lines are clogged try back flushing them.
