1999 Martinque 3200 - Portlights

Postby Dwright529 » Tue Aug 18, 2020 4:19 pm

Does anyone know what the OEM portlights are for a 99 3200 Martinque? Need new lenses if possible or replacements.

Appreciate any help!

Look on the hinges and get a manufacturer name then go to there site. don't forget to measure them so you can look for the correct size

Thank you. They are Bomar/Pompanette Gray Series. However, when I called Bomar and they told me the exact match had been discontinued. I have not removed one yet...I’m a little nervous. However, I do need to know the cut out size and hull thickness. Has anyone else encountered this? I appreciate any advice!

The cut out size is something you need to know also over all size, hull thickness is pretty standard as most portlights glue and clamp in place. I believe you can still get some replacement parts so check that first. All 4 of mine are leaking and Iwas just going to replace them all till I saw the price for the size I need so now I'm going to pull one out and see what it takes to repair it

Appreciate it guys. I broke down and ordered 4 SS Flagship Series portlights by Bomar from Defender Marine (great service by the way)...and yes, not thrilled about the price $350 each...ouch. Plus they take 6-8 weeks to get! I’ll keep you posted.

Do you think the hull thickness is greater than 7/8”? I hope not since that is the maximum.

The price of those is ridicules' can't believe I can buy hurricane rated windows for my house and have them installed at about 200 $s each and those portlights are mostly plastic with one piece of glass

Agreed! Plans changed...the cutout for the Bomar SS was 1” larger than what I have. So I found Jim Black glass windows that will fit the 16 x 6” cutout! $180 each. More good news...if anyone needs parts for the original Bomar Gray series I have one complete window in decent shape and 3 others available for parts of anyone can use them. I’ll let you know how they turn out.
