1988 28' Wellcraft Coastal (HULL)

Postby JL1328 » Sun Apr 26, 2020 7:15 am

I am looking to put an In Hull transducer in my 1988 Wellcraft Coastal does anyone know how the hull was constructed back then? I understand an In HUll transducer wont work in a cored hull. Any Info will help. Thanks.

In 88 I believe they where cored so if you what to use a shoot through transducer it might not work. If I'm not mistaken there are some newer ones that might work

I don’t think the bottom’s cored either. I can tell you for a fact that on my 87, the bottom is not cored. I think there were no substantial differences between 87 and 88 models in appearance or construction.
