81' 255 SunCruiser questions

Postby SheepDog » Thu Jul 09, 2020 9:29 am

Hello all new member. I'm looking for any and all I fo You can help me with for this model. I have the Mercruiser and drive manuals as well s maintenance manuals, but nothing on the Boat itself. I did search the forum first, doesn't appear to be a lot of info on this model.
Also, I'd like to know how you all anchor off the front?? Seems like a bit a hassle. Have any of you made a working system or added a windless to fix this?? I'd love to see some pictures of so. Any info in general would be appreciated !!
Thanks.

You have a couple of choices, use the most forward cleat which is what 3-4 ft back from the bow? my old mark twain & one other were like that and they would lay just fine at anchor. You could add a cleat to the most forward part of the bow you can reach or add an anchor windlass and cleat (because you do not use the windlass as a cleat)and anchor roller
