Help identify two square boxes on my 160ccf console

I need to figure out what the two square boxes are on each side of my center console. Mine are missing from previous owner. 4 screw holes are there but no boxes. I see in pictures where they are there. Any help would be great. I'm including a picture of someone else's boat with the boxes. It's the box right beside the antenna.

I can't make it out to well but I looked at some others on line and what I saw looked all most like those cup holders that fold out, looks like a cover over the outside with a release on top so the cover folds down to become the bottom. If there just squares screwed onto the console then maybe there just broken cup holders
