85 Scarab 1 Fuel Sending Unit Location

Fuel gauge isn’t working in my 85’ Scarab 1. Can anyone tell me where it’s at? Under the carpet or under the cushions in the cuddly? Thanks in advance.
more likely the tank starts just in front of the engine and goes forward to the helm pull the carpet and post a pic of the floor.
Can also go to the engine compartment ans look for the hoses and sender wires
