Anyone on this forum have a St Tropez?

I have one now, and have had a Gran Sport in the past. What do you need?

Have u ever put a windlass in them or did it already have? I have installed a lot of other upgrades already. Also having some issues with cabin door. When it's hot it slides perfect but when it cools down at night it's very hard to open/close. Any suggestions?

I guess since it's been over a year with no reply .... does anyone know what I'm talking about with this cabin door? It is the slightly tinted fiberglass door to my cabin. I have tried lube but, it only seems to work for a day or two. Do they have trucks that this door is supposed to ride along on the track?

maybe I will try and post cabin door sticking for any other wellcraft owners out there. It slides smoothly when it's warm outside but, is very hard as it get cooler in the evening. any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

sounds like you have a little expansion that helps you out, is that door curved? maybe your lube is causing stick, silicon maybe might work better if what you were using worked for a cpl. days? I see you had asked about a windlass, I put a vertical windlass in my boat this summer, it wasn't to bad, just time consuming running/ hiding wires and boring the lg. holes, directions came with it

Thanks for your reply. Door is not curved, I have tried silicone for lubrication. It only works for a day or so. Yes, I put my windlass in and wiring was the longest and hardest part of job for sure.

OK, if anyone reads these posts I just ran across some sand at about 2 feet with a draft of almost 3 feet so my props are waffled. I'm bringing them to the prop shop but, incase I have to buy new I was wondering if anyone has advice with different pitch or size. 32' Wellcraft with twin 350 cu 260 hp each and my original props were 17 X16 with a 1 1/4 shaft!

On the cabin door issue, you might need to look at replacing the "trucks" under the door. They have been known to cause issues. I believe Boat Outfitters in Ocoee FL has them. I've bought some from them before. 866-633-7961

Billo, on your props, you can call Wellcraft, they will be able to tell you not only what the "original" prop was, but what the "best performing" prop will be. They changed the props as they went through years of production, and what you had originally may not be the best.

I replaced the tracks, trucks, and felt summer 2014 on my '86 Tropez. Flounder Pounder provided had everything I needed.
The job is tough and will take a long time. Removing the teak bungs, cleaning, heavy door to move, etc. BUT when done, it works like new and couldn't believe how long I lived with the old assembly.

For the windlass, I have the Good set up. Stock wiring runs through the bilge and up to the locker.
