33 coastal fuel economy

33 coastal fuel economy

Hello all. I was wanting to know what rpm and speed over ground has everyone found best with there 33 with 7.2 mpi. I know there are alot of variables with this fuel on bored water people and so on. But over all I found 3400rpm gets me about 23. I'm thinking about trying to recup the props to get better mid range speed anyone have any input on this? Thank you

I also have a 33 coastal with 7.4 Mercs. Your numbers sound about right. With 3/4 tank clean bottom I get 22 mph per the gps at 3000.
