Used Scarab 29C

Hi Everyone,
Hope you don't mind me joining to discuss a prospective purchase...
I've the opportunity to buy a used Scarab 29C, It's a beautiful boat but I was hoping you could point me towards any pitfalls I need to look out for - note it's also going to be my first boat proper too (had my own 10hp dinghy before, used a decent sized 150hp RIB as part of a dive club)...
Does this sound risky?

Approx. 300 hours
Fuel Capacity- 450 L. Petrol
Engines- 2 mercruiser 350 magnums 300hp, with Alpha drives- stock..
Engines are just being serviced... but I've read I need to be really careful with the drive(s) on this type of boat? Also been told it's kept in drydock and flushed after each use...
Will get a survey but didn't want to waste the money if these things are notorious turkeys....
