Just purchased a 02 Martinique and my wife would like to run the ac if I am fishing or anchored. What size portable gen would I need?

Honda 2000 usually does it. Quiet and uses little fuel. Make sure you have carbon monoxide detector and the exhaust is not getting in the boat.

A1251 thank you for being reasonable with your reply, over at Club Searay I made the mistake of asking the same question and was basically made to feel like a idiot for wanting to use a portable generator. As long as you use common sense and do,as you recommend, I see no problem using one, in fact we've used ours for several years with no issues.
