Hi there , just bought a 2004 22walkaround with a verado 2006 150hp ,
Running a laser 2 21" pitch stainless prop giving 5400 rpm wot but only getting 25 knots !
Any advise would be good on how to get better speed

i think the max h.p. on that boat is 250. that being said it is going to be a bit lethargic with only 150. if the hull is in good shape you might want to consider a re power. do you know what the boat originally had on it? my guess would be a 200 or 225 ox66 or a 225 4 stroke.
