Hello New Guy & Wellcraft Lover

Postby Scarab Lover » Sat Mar 11, 2017 12:06 pm

Hello To All!!
I am new to the forum.
I am Jeff Sawyer in Lancaster, Ohio
I have been a Wellcraft lover for 37 yrs.
I was once lucky enough to go through the factory in 1983
I will always love and want a Scarab BUT!!!
I have had to lower my wants and needs.
So I have a 1986 Wellcraft 192 American (Cuddy) w/ Mercruiser MCM 140 ( 181 Cu. In.) & Alpha 1 Sterndrive ( 1st gen.)
We have restored it and it is beautiful and runs like a boat should!!
I hope to connect to any other owners of this boat.

Thank You!
Jeff

Sweet ride! I've always loved the "Lil' Scarab" looks of the 192 American.

Hi. I'm new to the Wellcraft forums and have recently picked up a 1986 Wellcraft 192 American cuddy as well. I pulled it out of someone's backyard and am trying to bring it back to life. I would love for it to look half as clean as yours! I've been trying to track down some information on these boats but haven't had much luck. To start, what are the passenger and weight limits listed on the capacity plate? Mine is so faded I can't even read it...

Thanks!
