Hello everyone-New to wellcraft boats

Postby keepitclean » Tue Nov 13, 2018 3:54 pm

My name is Scott and I just bought a 1984 wellcraft 2900 american. Going to make a 500 mile river trip from Louisville to Nashville to take it back to my Marina.

This is my first cabin cruiser and have only had speed boats and sailboats. Looking forward for some adventures hopefully without too many mechanical
problems. I believe this boat is big enough to keep myself and my 14 yr old son comfortable without too much expense on fuel.

If anyone knows by the way where I can find info on this model or where to look for a manual as I have tried it would be appreciated.

All the 2 engine inboard says is 220, don't know brand of motor as could not find relevant markings on it.

Believe I will enjoy this forum as much I have on the Hunter sailboat forum.

Thanks so much Scott Hall

Welcome aboard. I would recommend that you post some pictures. I’m willing to bet that you have a better chance of getting someone to identify it for you with pictures.
