Hello Gents/Ladies,
New guy here. Purchased my very first boat. its an 01' Martinique 2600. Yeah I know what you're thinking. Probably not the best choice for a first boat.
But I like to jump in with both feet.
I have already took the required boating course from the State of Florida (i'm in Tampa). I am pretty good with a wrench so I figured I can apply my race car wrenching to the boat. Overall the boat is in great shape for being 21yrs old. Everything works and I have taken it out twice so far.
Putting it in the water and navigating it on the water is pretty straight forward. I keep an eye on my depth, watch for the channel markers, crab traps, and PWC. Now docking it and loading it back on the trailer I think I got a few gray hairs because of it. First time the current was strong and it took me 20 mins to dock it. lol.
Anyways, looking forward to gain some knowledge from you experienced owners.
Thanks.
Mark
