Hi:
I have a 2005 232 Coastal. Boat has small courtesy lights on the boarding step risers. Lights have plastic dome style covers. Bulbs need changing but not clear if these covers are intended to be removed. Any thoughts...direction? Thanks.

On our boat (2012 290 Coastal), these light are sealed and the have a ring nut holding them in place from behind. They are meant, as far as I can tell, to be replaced as a unit. They are wired with Deutsch connectors apparently to make that easier.

Bulbs come out from the inside, the covers don't come off
