I am a retired USN chief engineer of 30 plus years I was a mm chief then went warrant officer and went to 05 then went to LDOand advanced to LCDR. Now retired with a wellcraft to play with. It was a 21 foot basic boat when I first got it, of course I wanted to do some things to it so I located a raymarine c120 multifunction display unit and mounted it about the helm uin front of an upper window, I also put on a scanning radar unit that connect s to the c120 along with a fathometer unit that also Connacht. It already has a gps system on it and map program in the c120 that shows the boat track on the charts along with the depth readings from the fathometer and other vessel info from the radar.the wiring was shaky so I replaced it all and made redesign it again. I built a tower for it and mounted the radar on it, installed new canvas, a freshwater pump tank and sink, an electric refrigerator, and a small stowage cabinet , I have a propane cook stove top that mounts above the refrigerator and have installed red and white cabin lights for use as appropriate" I have removed the anchor windlass and am rebuilding it so I can remount it. I also have a Tig welded, mig welded in the garage with a plasma cutter sandblast cabinet and a power coating setup and homemade oven for baking it out. I bought cleats from harbor frieght and filed them smooth and then sandblSted them and powder coated them a blue color , I welded up the tower out of 3/4" square tubing then sandblast it and powder coated it blue as well., I had new canvas made out of blue as well. I put a couple of spot lights on top of the cabin . The trailer was not in great shape so it got new bunks made and installed. Also I added another axle to the trailer as I thought it needed it. Added fenders as well and it tows much better now.i really like the boat and want to do some offshore fishing with it. I am working on the batteries currently and may replace them with optima bluetoo when I can , also I might decide to redo the wiring again and reorganize it a little better. That's about it for now but there is a Lehrer propane powered outboard that will eventually get mounted on the swim platform which I have modified to accommodate this. It's a 9.9 hp unit with a electric battery on board so it has a charging system as is electric start as well. That way I can keep my main batteries charged when I am trolling.thats my boat it's called the bluebird its a white hull and most accessories are powder coated blue. Oh yes I am going to add electric brakes to the new axle I installed to help with the towing and stopping the surge brakes still work but I would appreciate the added benefit the electrics will provide. My tow vehicle is a Toyota tunda with the big v-8 in it. That's my boat and sorry for taking so much space and running on about all this stuff. I really like working on stuff and once incomplete them to take it out and enjoy it. V/R joe
