Transmission Ratio

I recently bought a 1982 Wellcraft 310 Suncruiser with Bridge. I want to redo the boat as a hobby as well as a live aboard. Here is my issue: It has both engines blown both 350 Chevy ( Mercruisers) I am going to rebuild them myself but the gear boxes have both been removed as well. I now have no idea what Gear box I need to put back in there (gear ratio). Can someone please be of assistance with this topic.
