21ft cuddy cabin I don't know the model

Postby Joethemaddog » Sat Apr 04, 2015 12:18 am

Still working on the boat electrics. Am going to replace the current batteries which are a combo of deep cycle 6 volt wired series and then parrallelfor total of 12 volts, there are a total of 6 batteries all wired together into an giant 12 volt system that everything oi have replaced all f th wiring aside edged it and installed see where there're none. But now I oa re6 batteries and replace them with 3 separate 12 volt units rated at 75 amp he ea. one for the engine and accessories, oneolctronics etc, and the other for ge refer lights etc. I think this will end up as a much better arrangement . So that's my master plan. I plan on eventually adding a propane 9.9 hp trolling motor electric start and I closed battery for starting , I have been told that the charging system on the propane rig will accommodate now charging the main boat batteries when using the trolling motor. Long term dream. But I really like the idea of having a seperate rig for trolling etc.
