190ccf soft floor

Postby garlandp » Mon May 25, 2015 10:11 am

Hey. I am new to the forum and need some assistance for the repair of my 190ccf. For clarification it is a walkaround, center console with all finished fiberglass interior. The floor is soft from the CC to the aft wall of the interior. I have drilled some small holes in the floor, it is waterlogged and wood is rotten. Thoought about cutting out the finished flooring but decided that there may be a better way. I have removed the rubrail to see if there may be a way of removing the Cap but the cap seems to be firmly adhered to the transum. No luck there. Has anyone had this problem or could make suggestions on where to start with the repair??

I was hoping to retain the origional finish of the flooring. fiberglass with skidproof dimond patern. Do you thnk that the only way to repair it is to cut into the top of the boat flooring. I thought that their may be a way to remove the cap/liner and repair form the inside.
