I have a Raritan mobel 85 ice maker on my '88 Gran Sport. The compressor seems to work fine and the box gets cold. I can hear it periodically try to draw water and the bail goes done, but there is no water and no ice. Has anyone ever rebuilt one of these?

Go for it, how hard can it be. If you can find the parts diagram and diagnostic chart I have found fridges to be pretty simple to fix.
