Generator Retrofit

Hi Guys:
Anyone who have installs a Westerbeke 5Kw to replace existing Kohler 5kw? I had a lot of problems with Kohler 5ECD, and the newer version the width is about 1" wide than 5ECD, I looked the Westerbeke 5Kw which is .5" wider than the 5ECD and runs 1,800 rpms, less louder than Kohler. My Only concern with the Generator is the Weight that is 330#. Your comments will be welcome.
