Trolling Motor on Outboard Engine Mount Minn Kota RT160
With 6 bolts, it mounts on the cavitation plate. Controller to control the speed is mounted around your dash. Your EM motor is out of the water when up on plane, and when you stop the motor is already in the water for one touch trolling. I've used this for a couple of years now and been very happy. It does not interfere with outboard performance, and easily hooks up to two batteries 24 volt application. With 160 lbs of thrust it easily moves my vessel, and very quietly. Stealth is important for me when striper fishing or bass fishing. Rated for Salt water or fresh water.
The handheld controller I Velcroed above my throttle, which can detach with about 4 feet of wire for moving around if you want to control from the front bow. The main control module I mounted in the electronics battery compartment.

from your post its seems like this little trolling motor actual moves your boat on its own. Can you please confirm if it does. I'm looking to get a supplement like this to get back to shore in case my main propulsion dies. But I have a 5100 punder 1988 Aruba which is kind of heavy to move.
Please advise,
