Water in front storage compartment

First time user, and a good site for information. My 2005 Wellcraft 252 Coastal gathers water in the front storage compartment after heavy rain. I'm talking 20 liters. I have checked the seals on the side windows, and observed the hatch inside while a hose was sprayed on the outside, but didn't see any apparent leakage. My next thoughts were to sit in the boat during the next rain storm, and see if any water is coming through somewhere. I thought possibly the anchor storage area was getting flooded, and water was running into the compartment from there, but the drain hole is clear, no evidence that's happening. Anyone else getting water into this compartment? Any ideas appreciated, cheers from Perth,Western Australia.

That seams to be a problem with the coastals. Mine is a 270 and I'm still looking, I get water on the counter top in the head and on the port side V bench storage compartment, if I ever figure it out I'll post it

Yep - 270 Coastal with the same issue. Working on a couple of things but no good answer yet. I am like CptBill - if I find it I will post it.

Thanks the replies. I'm going to soak the front section outside with a hose again, over this weekend, mate next door is going do the visual bit inside, and I will also post if I get a answer to where this water is coming in.
