Ok guys, no new story here from what i can tell.

I just got this boat and noticed the floor was a little soft in the back. So i started picking out the soft parts and of course it evolves into much more.

This is my first time diving into a boat project.
Check out this video, let me know what you see.
Is this a botched repair?
What do you see that I do not see?
What else do i need to be looking at so i don't have more problems down the road?
How would you repair this problem?
Thanks!

wow no one answers questions on this board? Sorry this is old, you've likely repaired it by now but I'm sure you found you needed to lay an entirely new floor, really the only option!

To install the foam the factory first installs the wood floor then bores holes to inject the foam. Then carpeting is applied but the ho;es are not capped off. Water seeps thru the carpet into the foam into the wood and rot begins
