Any 186 SS owners in here?

Hi gents, I've searched all over and don't see any mention of a 186 SS, were they rare or just junk? lol
I just bought a beautiful 2000 model with the 4.3 Mercruiser, boat was one owner, well maintained and only has 300 hours on it. Needs bellows and a few electrical items straightened out and will be good as new.
Just curious if anyone has one? any Do's or Don'ts? should I sell it and cut my losses?
