Raymoiv here from homeport of narragansett, ri. Does anybody know the location of the pump that services the stern fish box in the floor? My view of the bilge is obstructed by the shelf that supports the batteries. I can only see the bilge pump, and next to that is an attwood aerator 500. Is it possible that the fishbox pump hangs from the bottom of the fishbox like a garbage disposal hangs from a kitchen sink? Any response appreciated because I.m getting to the point of calling it a season. Once I identify this pump and its location i.ll be halfway there to solving this problem.

I have the same boat. When I bought the boat it had a bilge pump connected to the hose that was connected to the box. To get to the box to replace the hose you have to remove the batteries and the floor that holds them. Mine has a 3/4 inch hose and the bilge pump always leaves water in the box. What you really need is an macerator pump. You will have to make an adaption because a macerator is larger that the hose out of the box and the box.
