I have a 2000 230 Fishermen with a Evinrude 225 outboard The motor will trim at idle or very low speeds but won't trim at high speed. Any idea what could be the culprit ? voltage is good hyd.. level is good. Trim tabs work fine.

You might want to check that the manual override screw located on the starboard side of the trim pump is tight.
