Fuel sending unit - 2000 180 Fisherman

Postby Aviator21114 » Fri Aug 11, 2017 1:44 pm

Greetings Wellcrafters,

I'm the proud new (to me) owner of a 2000 180 Fisherman. I need to replace the fuel sending unit and fuel gauge. Does anyone know what the dimensions (depth) of the tank is so I can order the correct aftermarket (Moeller?) replacement? I'd prefer to order the parts first then replace rather than remove the sending unit first to determine the depth of the tank. I don't want the boat to be down for days waiting for parts. I called the new Wellcraft company and they don't have info on my year since they acquired the company in 2008.

Additionally, I need to replace the Water Pressure gauge. Any sourcing / inside info on replacing that as well would be awesome.

I'm on the fast track for this so any/all info would be greatly appreciated.

Bob

Hi Bob, Did you ever resolve your sender issue? I'm where you were right now, looking for a part number if you happen to know. TIA Tom
