New Owner 262 Fisherman

Postby BigDaddyRatty » Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:39 am

Hi,
As a new owner, I have many questions and felt joining this group would be a great start.
My first question is, what happened to Wellcraft website? I've tried numerous times to order parts yet the site is down.

Welcome Aboard, try going to Beneteau group website as they are the current owners of the Wellcraft name

What causes my 262 to list to port when docked (there's no water in the bilge, all compartments are empty)?

It could be your waste tank is full. I noticed during the season as the bathroom gets used and the fresh water empties it lists to port. The trouble I have is when it rains I get water in bilge abs have no idea where it’s coming from. When I put the boat on plane I get the water to rush to back abd when I come down it sets off the bilge pump.

Could be lots of things, supplies, hot water tank if you have one, batteries and so on. Doesn't take much if you have it close to the outside edges. Waste tanks another good one like David said. If you have duel fuel tanks or if yours is one that has foam around the tank or fish boxes and that has absorbed water. Hate to say it but that's going to be a trial and error sort of thing
