Live well

Postby 35124 » Fri Aug 20, 2021 1:45 pm

2020 222 Fisherman, a few weeks ago the pump started making a noise for a few seconds but still worked. Now the when I turn the switch on it pops the fuse on the dash. I have not dug deep into it yet but what part needs to be replaced? The manual shows there only being one pump for both the live well and the wash down, but the wash down still works?

Sounds to me like you have a powered Y valve that may be fried. Did you buy this boat new? If not the previous owner could have installed a 2nd pump. If you bought it new, I'd be interested in knowing the make/model of your Y-Valve as mine is manual and it's a PITA to make the switch from washdown to livewell.
