Boats have plenty of things for you to learn about, and work on... and the 2800 is a fairly big boat for a newbie. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and as BBAF noted, it's a little quiet here, so prepare thyself with patience.
When asking questions, realize that darned few 'two boats' are alike... they're frequently 'built to order', or altered by dealers or prior owners, so your 2800's engines, drive systems, controls may be totally different from someone else's... you'll have to identify those accordingly when asking.
