New to me 99 270 coastal

Postby jasonsnova » Wed Jun 15, 2016 3:34 pm

So just saying hi. I recently bought a 99 270 coastal tournament edition with twin 200ho etecs any thoughts on these boats? So far had it out 2 days last week and it need a few minor tweaks to get to my liking , my standards maybe a bit high as last boat was a Carolina classic diesel.....but this one was 1/2 the cost!

Hi I bought a 290 Coastal year and a half ago. Nice boat but always something to replace-fix. Not much info out on them so you'll do alot of searching. Parts are hard to come by since Wellcraft went belly up.Company that bought them isn't up to speed on older parts and they told me if its past 5 years old you are pretty much on your own.

Anyone know what size fuel tank is one. My 99 270 coastal?
Other day it was showing a touch over 1/4 and I pumped 82 gallons I to it and was past full on the gauge at that point but was still not showing signs of being full....??? Searches I did showed 188 gallons on the newer models...
