Hello to Wellcraft forum members. New joiner here - based in Hong Kong, and have just refurbished my boat. I "think" it's a 1979 Nova 210XL but not sure. I have had it 8 years and it was converted to outboard before I bought it, now has a Yamaha 200. It's been great, so decided to refurbish it rather than buy something newer. It copes well with rough seas, and is relatively cheap to own and run. If anyone has any tech details or info on the serial numbering system that Wellcraft used back then,or where to get upgrade parts for things like the dashboard/ instrument panel, please message me. I think my hull serial number is WBLA 5808M8 A-N2 but Wellcraft could not help when I asked them, and the thick paint makes reading the number difficult. Also looking for a recommendation for a decent cover for my boat.

I have just had it stripped and refurbished so it is like new. Myself and the boat are based in Hong Kong. I have some photos if you are interested. I think the serial number of the hull is WBLA 5808M8 A-N2 (its difficult to make out as its been painted over a few times). I have contacted Wellccraft a few times to ask about info on teh serial number or any details etc but they have been really unhelpful. If anyone has any details about the serial numbering system, or tech details of the boat or where I can get spares / or modern upgrade parts, technical literature etc it would be great. I love the boat - its great in rough seas and have a load of fun with it.
