2000 230 fisherman....help!

Recently got a 2000 Wellcraft 230 fisherman. The boat has been sitting covered in storage for at least 8 years. It has a Yamaha V225 on it with low hours. The cover had a hole in it, but we are not sure how long it was in it. The original owner of this boat passed away and we do not know much about it. Other than he took care of it well up until 8 years ago when he stopped using it.
My reason for posting is that it is hard for us to find info on this boat. As far as problems people had, what the hull is made of...if its got a lot of wood in it that could be prone to moisture etc. Also we would like to know what kinds of repairs should we make to the engine before we start her up?
The boat seems dry for the most part. One of the storage hatch doors is definitely rotten and needs to be replaced. But using a moisture meeter, we found 15-20% in some spots, and 0-5% in other spots. Though we didnt go through the entire thing. We plan to have a survey done this week.

What do you guys think about this boat? What should we be looking for? Any advice on getting this thing back to its glory?

We recently sold a 30ft sea ray and plan to use that money to restore and upgrade this boat.
