Winter Projects

On some of the other forums I use people always start a winter project post. So since this forum is kinda slow I thought I'd post something to get it going.

I will start. We purchased a 1990 Portofino in December that has low hours and great bones, but needs some serious updating. Before spring Launch in April we plan to:

Replace all carpet with composite flooring in the cabin
Replace all 1990 electronics-Has original Radar, Loran, etc
New Radar
New GPS
New stereo
6 new LED cabin speakers
New 12" Subwoofer
2 new amplifiers
New VHF
Complete cut, buff , wax on the hull
Bottom paint
Some canvas updating
Replace most of the interior cabin lights
LED strips in the cabin
LED Strips in the cockpit
2 new flat screen TV's
Add a second fridge(like post 1992's)

Plus about 100 other things as the first mate see's fit. The fun part in in Minnesota that means I have about 6 weeks to do that once the weather breaks in March to be ready for a late April launch!!! Can't do much but collect parts, plan and dream right now. Oh and hope the old boat sells soon!!
