Batteries

I just purchased a 1996 Wellcraft 3200 Martinique,I forgot to look at the batteries and need to buy new batteries.This is my first big boat.Are the batteries generally top post or are they side mount batteries? Thank you for any help.

Marine batteries are dual top post batteries. Meaning that there are the standard battery posts for the standard clamp type cable ends and a set of 5/16" threaded posts that use wing nuts to secure the soldered on crimp style battery cables.

You should download the operators manual for your boat, everything will be in there.....
