290 Wellcraft coastal

Postby David Kroonstuiver » Sun Jun 10, 2018 8:17 am

Hi all. I live in Western Australia.
I own a 290 Wellcraft coastal. I absolutely love this boat. I have owned it for 3 years.
2 months ago my windshield was smashed and it has been a nightmare to replace.
I am after a part number so I can replace it.
For some reason it is not on the aluminium frame below it.
If there is any one out there that could help me with a part number your help would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

What yr is it, before 2009 good luck, been looking for one for a 2600 strbd side, take frame apart, cut one out of 1/8 plexi glass to fit and adj. cut, then get a pc. of 1/8 lexan and use temp till u can locate one, it will bend the curve, look on Use Boat Parts, or other boat junk yards, Taylor Made said windshield might of been used on other boats to,they were no help, any number I came up with ment nothing to them

I have contacted Taylor Made and got the same answer as you. They make the same today and still can't help me.

I don’t believe they have changed the 290 Coastal. I was able to get new fish box covers from the factory for a 2007. I would reach out to a Wellcraft Dealer. Wellcraft website is a mess but they do have parts listed.
