Water in bow locker

Postby fh in nh » Tue Jun 14, 2016 10:04 am

I just purchased a 98 160 ccf. The bow locker is not draining so I have water in the floor. Does anyone know how this drains to the bilge compartment? I've tried running a snake down, and also up from the stearn, but to no avail. Also tried blowing out with a compressor, but still nothing. Thanks for any help.

Hello - I just purchased a 1997 160CCF and have the same issue. My assumption is that is that that compartment is not meant to drain into the bilge and is meant as a watertight crash bulkhead that can only be pumped out on it's own using a hand bilge pump.

I saw no one replied to you.

May I ask what you have found out on your own?

Also - any good parts sources would be welcome.

Thank you for your time,
David
