FUEL LEAK

Postby gjmpga » Sun Aug 14, 2016 10:59 pm

I have a 1998 Wellcraft 23WA that is leaking fuel on fill up. I have a problem with water in the fuel as well, so we have concluded that the water is getting in from the tank somehow l. Just want to throw that out there to see if anyone else has had a problem.
Thanks
G

heck the O ring at the fill, check the vent and its orientation to spray, pull the access plate and make sure the sending unit gasket is intact. I have seem water get onto top of the tank and puddle over the sender and get in because of that. Obviously check the fill and vent hoses. Good luck, let us know what you find.
