Eisenglass temporary discoloration

Postby SonnyDee » Sat Apr 15, 2017 8:42 am

In October of last year I went to the marina to check my 2016 Wellcraft Coastal 290. I saw the Eisenglass had turned gray. I thought it was just moisture so I wiped the plastic with a microfiber cloth to removed the condensation, however, the condition did not improve. The temperature had dropped that day and it was raining. I took a pictures of the plastic which I have posted. When I returned the next day the plastic was clear again. This condition occurred once more under the same weather conditions. I notified the dealer I bought the boat from and as of this time the dealer says that Wellcraft will not acknowledge that there is a problem. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if so what they have done to correct it.
