290 Coastal Ground Light (Help!)

Postby BrentF » Mon Jan 18, 2016 6:01 pm

I recently purchased a 2008 290 Coastal. For some reason the ground alarm in the electrical panel in the cabin is sounding and the ground light remains red. I have 50 amp service at the marina and use a splitter for my 2 30 amp shore ties. I've tried 3 other towers on the dock, so I'm convinced the problem is not the marina. Does anyone have any suggestions what would make the ground alarm sound? I can reset the audio alarm, but the light remains red. Everything including the A/C appears to be working properly, so I'm baffled what is causing the alarm. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
