Looking at a 1998 240 coastal
Looking to pick up a 99' 240 coastal. Looks in good shape with twins. Are these boats prone to anything funky that I should check out extra well? I have a buddy who has a slightly older one and he loves how it rides. Last boat was a 25' aquasport that road a little to light for my liking. This seems like a heavier hull.
Thanks,
Bill

Your going to need to be more specific with the construction question. What specifically are you asking? Smart mouth answer is that they are made of fiberglass. Wellcraft is not a top of the line boat and as such your not going to find a hand laid boat. There is a ton of wood in my Portofino and that is their top of the line boat. Wood Everywhere. Stringers, floor, transom, hull sides, seat bases and backs, deck is wood cored.
