Martinique 2400 - Throttle/shift cables replacement

Postby alexb » Wed Oct 25, 2017 2:19 pm

Hi. I own a 1999 Martinique 2400 and I need to replace the shift & throttle cables from the handle to the motor. Would anyone have any ideas/suggestion/know-how on how the access/reach the back of the throttle box? Thank you!

Did you ever find out how to do it? I need to do the same thing on my 2001.

I know the side panel can be removed but it’s still way to long to reach in to the controller.

The cover should come off the controls(should snap off and snap back on)check for screws, some times the whole controller just unscrews from where it's mounted, then lift it out or off, that should gain you access. I'm sure there's a u-tube video out there some where on the www

Thanks for the reply. There’s no problem to get into the controller. The problem is the controller is so far from the opening that I’m not sure how to reach to it from the back.

There is a way because the controls are mounted after the panel is installed
post a pic of the control box,
