Water wont drain from cabin floor.

Postby sailinghigh1 » Tue Jul 28, 2020 8:00 am

I have a 98 Wellcraft 260 SE Cruiser. I have water coming in when at the dock overnight. I have water standing in the lower cabin floor of about 7 inches, wont drain out and bilge pump has stopped working. I have snaked 25 ft thru the drain plug with no luck. I have snaked to the bow thu the engine bildge forward, no luck. water is just standing. No issues when boat is in use. Just seems to fill up over night. ? HELP

Could you possibly have a leak in the plumbing? Do you have water hooked to the boat at the dock?
Very strange that it will not drain.
Does it have a bulkhead with a forward and stern bilge in separate compartments?

Check your fresh water tank and fresh water pump also for leaks and above fix or replace your forward bilge pump
