Hi there, I just joined this site. I’m looking at purchasing a 1999 24’ Martinique 5.0L Volvo/Penta.
I previously had a 1989 28’ Sea Ray that I improved a bit but barely used it except at the dock. As a first boat it was a bit large to feel comfortable with.
This new boat looks like a good compromise of decent size to overnight or weekend here on Long Island. Mostly a bay boat.
Anyone have any insight or input regarding this particular boat? Much appreciation to all.

I’ve enjoyed my 2600 over the years on L.Erie, check stringers solid and transom
