No anchor well on 2001 Martinique 2600

Postby reeferjon » Fri Nov 27, 2020 5:14 am

I recently purchased a Martinique 2600 and am in the process of getting it up together for the spring season. One thing I've noticed is that it doesn't have an anchor well or windlass fitted... there is a removable plate on the top of the pulpit, but no hole underneath.. I assume that the boat either ended up back on the trailer or in a marina berth!

Given that I plan to do a lot of beach-hopping, I really need to install an anchor. Does anyone know where I could source the metal anchor well part to fit to my boat? I assume that I'd also need to cut a corresponding slot in the bottom of the pulpit fibre glass.

Any help or suggestions much appreciated. I'm sure someone must have done this before!

Could only find one pic off hand, u might be able to find one in salvage as that’s used on a few years, and not a breakable item

I have windlass, but u can see the cap that u u hand feed rope/ chain back into, windlass works nice instead of crawling out to retrieve in rough waves, as wife got that for me for Christmas years ago
