Wellcraft WA 24...Thoughts

Hello, I recently took a look at a 2004 Wellcraft Walkaround 24 and really liked what I saw. Good size for the family and I. Looked like a nice beginner boat.

My question is, has any had experience with this boat before? Construction, issues and the like. It has a Johnson 175 on it which my research says is a decent motor but might be under powered just a bit. Price wise, I think it might be too high but with this market I’m not sure. It is priced at low 20’s.

Real issue, is what is everyone’s thought from experience.

There good solid boats, ride well and are very versatile. The issues might be the fish box doors becoming soft and some areas of the boat are very hard to get to for maintenance. Don't know any thing about Johnson out boards as my 270 has Yamahas and this is the first boat that I've owned with outboard motors but I love the nice dry ride of this boat in choppy water. Low 20's is probably not unreasonable for a super clean boat that has records you can look at and depending on where you live but remember everyone thinks there boat is worth way more than it really is. Golden Rule" Start low cause you can always come up"
