That cooling system should be much like the one in your car except no rad. or fan instead you have a heat exchanger that the sea water passes through and cools the antifreeze in the engine, flushing the engine and replacing the antifreeze is maintenance just like your car, if not done regularly you will get a build up. Also the heat exchanger needs to be flushed and there should be zinc's in the heat exchanger that should be replaced on a regular basis

Nice boat, I like the dual helm set up. I have an 85 Sportbridge 2900. They are good boats, designed after the Bertram 28 Flybridge, almost identical minus the hull design. What engine package are you running, I have the 260 HP 5.7 Mercruisers with FWC.

Nice ride, I have an 85 Sportbridge. The were designed to be direct competition to the Bertram 28 Flybridge. What engine package are you running, I have the 5.7 260 HP Mercruisers with FWC
