New Wellcraft owner

Postby Oceanview » Mon Dec 06, 2021 12:56 am

I just bought a 1986 Wellcraft 34 Gran Sport. I would like to get seats for the deck and a fully enclosed top? Hardware is good on the top just need the cover and isinglass. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Any local canvas shop can help you. They will measure your boat and custom make the top. Sunbrella is the best material to use. Stay away from real dark colors as they can make the cockpit very hot if you leave the boat closed up. Strataglas is better than isenglass but it needs special care in cleaning!

If you want to replace the helms seats, I would bring them to an automobile upholstery shop.

As for deck seating, I like those high quality folding white ones. They are expensive, but will last a lifetime.
