Cabin door hatch hinge tape

Anything related to the operation of your boat. Steering, Bilge Pumps, thru-hulls, bottom paint, etc.

Cabin door hatch hinge tape

Can anyone identify what tape was used on the 97 23 WA cabin door/hatch.

I would think its piano hinge material

Not sure what they call the tape that covers the hinge but any type of weather proof material should work, just make sure it's not glued to the hinge

Thanks guys. It's like a hard plastic but somehow flexed on the hinge line. Maybe it got hard over 25 years? It looks like there was a line of it on the cabin door as well along the screws. I think I'm going to do teflon tape. /shrug
